The Office of Public Works, Garage Division is seeking individuals to perform duties under the\ Inflation Reduction Tree grant. Assist the Community Outreach Arborist in tree maintenance,\ community outreach to marginalized neighborhoods, and implement an educational program.\ Prepare and carry out a community tree walk and learn basic arborist functions. The preferred\ candidate would be someone who is physically capable of working outside, ability to work well\ independently and in a team environment, and has a positive attitude and great work ethic.\ Experience with community organizations is preferred. Candidates will be selected based on the\ grant agreement. Seasonal employment for this position is June through August. Preemployment\ background and drug screen are required.
