Position Overview

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as Client Payment Unit Quality Assurance Administrator. Under direction, this position will manage and coordinate quality assurance activities involving the statewide performance and production of the Client Payment Unit. The position will provide analysis of identified foster care provider cases to ensure compliance with statewide policies, rules, and procedures. The position will recommend qualitative programs and plans geared toward the enhancement of efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability of the statewide client payment process. This position will review and conduct special studies and in-depth research and analysis of foster care provider cases to ensure timely and accurate responses to all inquiries regarding payment received. Job Responsibilities

1. Serves as Client Payment Unit Quality Assurance Administrator

2. Recommends to management qualitative programs and plans geared towards the enhancement of efficiency, effectiveness and accountability of the client payment process.

3. Reviewsand conducts special studies on the process of transferring clients from closed or downsized provider agencies in order to review and revise statewide policies and procedures for processing transition of payments and services

4.Conducts in-depth research and analysis of foster care provider cases throughout the state to ensure timely and accurate responses to all inquiries relating to payment received, including hig h profile cases referred from the Advocacy Office for Children and Families
