Description
Kimberly Casey is seeking a diligent Controller to join our client's Manufacturing team. The Controller plays a key role in managing and overseeing the organization’s financial operations while adhering to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and tight internal controls. This role requires an experienced financial leader who can combine operational expertise with strategic thinking, leveraging modern tools and systems to drive organizational success. The Controller will manage approximate revenues of $500M, for a company with multiple entities and locations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage all accounting systems and operations.
Perform account reconciliations and ensure proper balancing of sheet accounts.
Handle audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting standards.
Oversee treasury functions and implement risk management strategies.
Develop and enhance budget processes to streamline financial workflows.
Lead month-end close procedures following standard accounting practices.
Utilize ERP system to efficiently manage accounting tasks.
Deliver and analyze financial reports to support organizational objectives.
Monitor business performance and enforce plans to achieve desired outcomes.
Collaborate with management to shape and guide strategic business initiatives.

Requirements
• Bachelors in accounting or finance required.
• MBA and/or CPA strongly desired.
• Applicant should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a Controller role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in ERP accounting software systems is crucial for this role.
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in handling all accounting functions is required.
• Skills in auditing practices and principles are necessary.
• A deep understanding and experience in budget processes is required.
• Ability to handle month-end close procedures efficiently is necessary.
• Experience in account reconciliation is required.
• Experience in balance sheet account reconciliation is necessary.
• Knowledge and experience in corporate treasury is a plus.
• Experience in audit compliance is required.
