JOB SUMMARY:

As a Binder Op 2/Ink Jet Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating and performing maintenance on InkJet Mailing Systems and assisting with setup and operation of perfect binder.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

Sets up and operates ink jet and other equipment in a safe, efficient manner, daily.

Meets or exceeds Walsworth's standards for waste and throughput on a daily basis.

Reads and understands special instructions on job tickets and ship reports to process customer orders accurately, daily.

Performs routine preventative maintenance.

Cross trains on other work centers such as stitchers, binders, small machines including strappers & consistently increase overall mailing knowledge as time allows and as needed.

Troubleshoots mechanical and operational problems on the inkjet mailing system and other equipment.

Completes special projects as needed.

Must be able to read, follow and interpret work instructions properly.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED);  previous experience with mailing systems is preferred.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Basic PC skills are required.

Must be able to retrieve tickets and ship reports from network computer, understand and interpret to complete customer requirements.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must have strong mechanical aptitude.

Must be able to effectively troubleshoot mechanical and operational problems
