Job Title: Lead Enterprise Geospatial Architect

Position Type: Salaried, Full-Time

Job Location: HQ: St. Louis, MO

Job Duties: Plan, develop, refine, optimize, and support the enterprise GIS architecture and tools as required to meet the business requirements of the organization; Develop and maintain the enterprise GIS strategy and architecture blueprint for the organization, overseeing the use of best practices for electric and gas modeling, data, integration, mapping, and analytics; Provide technical direction to team members and solve highly technical complex problems; Develop guidance for incorporating GIS technology into solutions, including defining standards, reference architectures, solution guidelines and metrics; Define patterns and building blocks that leverage domain technologies incorporating domain and industry best practices; Stay abreast of GIS domain technologies, understanding the trends and the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies to enable evolving business needs; Develop roadmaps incorporating industry best practices and gain support/approval from stakeholders and senior leadership; Performs system wide/cross functional team management on projects to evaluate, design and implement new technology systems; Lead team members and provide work guidance to meet project objectives and assure timeliness, quality and cost effectiveness; and mentor and collaborate with various subject matter experts to develop technology architecture that enables and drives new business capabilities operating models.

The minimum requirements for the Position Offered are a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geoscience, or related field and five (5) years of experience in an occupation involving GIS analysis/architecture. Must also have skills in Geospatial solution architecture, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Portal, and Python. Ameren Services Company. Company Headquarters: St. Louis, MO.
