Robert Half Accounts Payable Manager in St. Louis Park, Minnesota

Description

We are offering a consulting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Manager, located in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. The selected candidate will be expected to handle customer applications, maintain accurate records, and resolve any inquiries. This role also includes the monitoring of customer accounts and ensuring appropriate actions are taken.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications.

• Supervise and maintain a high-performance team, driving positive employee engagement.

• Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators to enhance productivity.

• Drive initiatives for process improvement and automation

• Assist with business inquiries from both internal and external customers.

• Approve vendors payments

• Approve new vendor setup

• Assist with process documentation

• Train other departments requiring assistance in the Accounts Payable process.

• Complete all 1099 processing

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP) processes

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis

• Experience with automation software for streamlining AP processes

• Strong supervisory management skills to lead and coordinate the accounts payable team

• Proven ability in payment processing, including managing invoices and ensuring timely payments

• Prior experience in the manufacturing industry, understanding its unique financial requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management and cross-departmental collaboration

• Analytical skills to review financial data and identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
