Job Title Cleaner Job Description Summary The Cleaner performs skilled painting functions for a commercial or industrial building or facility often working independently but also in conjunction with the other building trades on projects, repairs, maintenance, upgrades, remodeling, and emergency situations. Job Description Here are just a few things you can expect to do daily: Teammembermust be able to work both solo and, in a team, oriented and safety conscious environment. "Safety First" expectations include, but are not limited to, Observation process, and compliance with all company/site safety guidelines and procedures. Assigned tasks list to include, but not limited to; perform housekeeping and janitorial duties to maintain offices,restrooms,and public areas in clean and orderly condition. Removes trash from offices and other work areas and perform all general cleaning duties daily as needed. Project work: Carpet cleaning including dry or low moisture cleaning as well as water extraction cleaning. Some stripping and waxing of floors, burnishing waxed floors. Cleaning, and machine scrubbing of ceramic tile, terrazzo, and concrete floors. Restroom and shower detail cleaning using a restroom cleaning system/pressure washer/wet vacuum. Assistother service personnel with minor facility equipment service repair. Follow established routine. Employeewill performallother duties that are assigned by the responsible supervisor. Must be able to use hand tools and cleaning machinerydailysuch as floor sweepers and riding vacuums, brooms, carpet cleaners, floor scrubbers, burnisher, auto-scrubbers, and restroom pressure washing systems. Must have the flexibility to work various hours, holidays and weekends as required by the job. Compliance with all company/customer regulations, policies, and procedures. Achieve performance expectations set forth as part of performance appraisals to include employee development planning. Communicates with team members and supervisor toassistthe development ofshort and long-rangeplanning in assistance of the company's goals andobjectives. Maintain toolsand equipment requiredfor your job. Meet physical requirements of the job. Maintain good attendancein accordance withCompany policy. Perform assigned tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. Accurate and timely administrative duties to include, but not limited to, time accounting and work order completion. Experience: Two years' experience in Janitorial/Custodial field is desirable.Project cleaning experience is preferred. What are the physical demands of the role?
