Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be operating a Saw machine to cut and form metal materials such as carbon steel and stainless steel. Your duties will primarily involve handling pipes and steel beams, measuring parts with a tape measure, and maintaining a clean work area. You may also be required to assist in other areas as needed. Additionally, you will be expected to read and interpret blueprints and schematics as per work orders.
Hard Skills
Machine Operating Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
Experience in Metal Manufacturing or Forging Industry
Ability to Read a Tape Measure
Band Saw/Saw Cutting Experience
Blueprint Reading Experience
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 560 Hour(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Stafford, Texas.
Work Environment
We operate in a clean manufacturing setting, which is non-climate controlled but equipped with large fans for comfort. Our team includes CNC machinists, QC Technicians, Manufacturing Trainers, Assemblers, and Machine Operators. We require our staff to adhere to safety protocols, including wearing steel-toe boots, jeans, a work shirt, safety glasses, and a high visibility vest. Our standard working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM from Monday to Friday. However, overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs and specific projects.
Pay
$23/hr
