Emerson Project Engineer in Stafford, Texas

If you are a highly motivated Project Engineer, we have a great opportunity for you! In our Stafford, TX facility you will provide technical engineering support for customer projects related to Emerson’s product families. In this role, you will assist with the specification of applicable regulator products and service offerings based on an analysis of the customer’s needs and factory capabilities. As a project engineer you will promote the successful execution of North American and global projects which are ordered from our manufacturing facility in Nuevo Laredo.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Provide Support to Sales Channel by:

  • Acting as the technical lead role in evaluating project proposals, including quotation submittal and pricing.

  • Participating in project kickoff meetings.

  • Providing an interface between the sales channel and the company for multi-regulator customer projects.

Provide Technical Support by:

  • Assisting sales field concerning product applicability and special customer requirements.

  • Assisting factories by defining and coordinating special customer product modifications and/or service offerings to ensure customer requirements and industry standards are understood throughout phases of execution.

  • Modifying and approving user documentation according to customer requests.

Interdepartmental Activities:

  • Assisting in new process, service and/or product development.

  • Analyzing common product or process problems and coordinate solutions.

  • Promoting customer awareness among all employees.

  • Acting as a liaison between sales, engineering, operations and other internal departments.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering is required.

  • 2-3 years’ experience working in an engineering/manufacturing environment required.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written.

  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of the year

  • Must be able to work effectively with global teams.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor's in mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial is preferred.
