TEKsystems Medical Scheduler in Stanford, California

Description:

Scheduling appointments, dealing with documents such as consent forms, utilizing epic every day. responsible for creating calendars and coordinating kits together sending them. coordinating patient care after new patient appointments in epic. lots of follow up from first appointment to end. they will be scheduling appointments over the phone and working with admin and nurse staff. responsible for follows up appointments, PET scans, messaging dr.'s and nurses all in EPIC. , dealing with prior authorizations. general faxing, filing. coordinator of scheduling, rescheduling, inbound and outbound calls to patients.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

2- 3 years of healthcare back office experience

MUST have strong communication and organization skills

1 year of EPIC experience (highly desired- will look at profile as long as they are a go-getter, quick learner)
