Are you able to make quick decisions in high stress situations? Are you a strong communicator, especially over the phone? Our client is seeking a part-time Dispatcher to join their team. *Additional weekday and weekend shifts may be available.
*Schedule: Part Time - Weekend - Overnight (Friday & Saturday, 11:15 PM -- 7:15 AM) *Additional hours may be required as needed *Pay: $18.00/hour *This is a direct hire position
Your main responsibility in this position will be to receive calls and efficiently transfer to police and fire departments, and 911 centers.
Other Responsibilities include: -Receive and transfer incoming phone calls to individuals internally at the company -Provide assistance to incoming callers -Office or clerical assignments as needed
Qualifications: -Strong communication skills in emergency response situations -High attention to detail -Ability to make quick decisions while remaining calm -Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
