The position

By joining our team in Exploration & Production Norway you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide advice and support on Equinor aviation operations.

  • Provide internal users of aviation services with advice and assistance, on a global basis.

  • Prepare supplier technical and HSE requirements and ensure that these have an effective quality assurance system which satisfies the requirements of the authorities and of Equinor, and follow this up by means of verifications and inspections.

  • Provide assistance to projects concerning aviation safety mangement, operational requirements and aircraft spesifications.

  • Follow up accidents, incidents and other matters which could have an effect on the safety of Equinors personnel and operations.

  • Represent Equinor and the flight safety discipline in internal and external meetings and forums, both nationally and internationally.

  • Develop and maintain flight safety related governing documentation.

  • The position will entail a certain amount of travel and work day/hour flexibility.

You

  • A qualified helicopter pilot with previous offshore flight experience such as within Search and Rescue, crew change flights, the military or other related offshore fields.

  • You may also hold a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree, or hold a technical education within mechanics, materials, risk analysis or security.

  • Effective communication skills.

  • Fluency in Norwegian and English both written and spoken.

  • A willingness to undertake both national and international travel.
