The position

By joining our team in Technology, Digital & Innovation you will have the opportunity to:

  • Be part of our journey as we are strengthening our development teams (Front-Back-Full) to deliver to our Project Deliveries process area, a large community of IT specialists that are collectively contributing to Equinor’s digitalization journey. We use in-depth knowledge of technology, systems, software development, as well as our expertise in business processes, to make valuable contributions to energy technology projects.

  • Collaborate with IT business analysts and IT Architects.

  • Develop a strong community with our other DevOps teams for further development of our portfolio.

  • Enhance and develop new tools for PD and OMM area in the Full-stack DevOps team.

FOS IT represents the IT technology muscle related to advisory, innovation, architecture, design, development and maintenance of about 600 IT solutions. We are supporting OMM (Operations, Maintenance and Modifications) areas of Equinor's offshore and onshore facilities, including wind and solar.

We work with a variety of technologies, and our teams of IT business analysts, IT architects and software developers are widely recognized for combining domain- and IT knowledge within the OMM and Project Deliveries areas.

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher qualification in Computer Science or relevant subjects – experience may compensate for formal qualification.

  • 3+ years of experience in Programming.

  • Experience with React, TypeScript, and/or the .NET framework.

  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure and services, primarily Azure.

  • Experience in DevOps practices and working in team topology based structures

  • Focus on writing clean, maintainable and testable code.

  • Candidates with an innovative spirit and are willingness to take initiative.

  • Demonstrable good team collaboration and communication skills.

  • A talent for problem-solving and critical thinking.
