Nightwing is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join a dynamic program in a world-class operations facility. The program requires a candidate that can support a broad range of fast paced, quick reaction program requirements. The candidate will work in a warehouse operations environment as part of a team. The logistics team is responsible for all aspects of goods and materials management. Warehouse responsibilities include full lifecycle management to include receiving, inspecting, storing, and inventorying receivables. The logistics team performs material and goods transportation requirements that includes inventory tracking, packing, and shipping actions. Each team members’ primary focus is working in an effective and efficient manner while seeking opportunities to optimize processes to promote a safe and productive work environment. A successful candidate will possess the ability to foster teamwork, excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize multiple and competing priorities, and prior work experience in a full-service logistics operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily work will require performing and monitoring the workflow:

  • Perform and coordinate functions facilitating the receipt, storage, and transportation of goods and materials

  • Experience with materials transportation

  • Knowledge of safe handling and storage of hazardous materials

  • Perform and maintain accurate and regular inventory processes to prevent damage and loss

  • Maintain inventory management systems to ensure optimal stock level and rotation

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance warehouse efficiency, productivity, and accuracy

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Poly

Required Skills:

  • Ability to work as part of a team and individual to accomplish tasks

  • Prior experience with inventory practices and warehouse procedures

  • Knowledge of security guidelines related to materials movement

  • Current forklift certification

  • Ability to collaborate; and the ability take guidance from various audiences to accomplish the requirement and to mitigate or resolve complaints

  • Ability to execute taskings from assignment through to completion; and the ability to delegate and support the completion within the team

  • Good judgement, decision making, and practical application skills under stressful and tight deadlines

  • Conduct regular safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and document then implement corrective actions

  • Capable to use MSOffice application such as Outlook, Word, and Excel as well as the capability to learn and use other databases and custom applications

  • Continuously advocating for safety protocols and best practices to prevent accidents and injuries

  • Logistics team may work periodic events resulting in hours beyond traditional work hours. Must be willing to support teams’ operational requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field or an equivalent work experience

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
