Fire Protection Publications is a mission-driven, values-based organization dedicated to the production of high-quality educational content for the international community of firefighters and first responders.\ \ As the Accounting Specialist-Sales and Use Tax Compliance, you will file monthly and quarterly tax returns assigned by states for all goods sold. The tax returns are filed through the individual states tax sites as required. This individual will also maintain the Tax software used atFPP. The tax management software houses all tax records for taxes collected per order and the exemption certificates for clients. This position will be responsible for tax returns, tax reports and state registrations. This position will work with other departments to ensure tax compliance throughOSUandFPPsystems. The person in this role must have an attention to detail, the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and manage projects and deadlines.
