Description

Jackie Meza with Robert Half is seeking a Cost Accountant for a client based in Stockton, California. The role involves working with various accounting software systems and ERP solutions to manage accounting functions, accounts payable, and budget processes. Responsibilities:

• Utilizing Accounting Software Systems and ERP solutions to manage and oversee accounting functions.

• Handling accounts payable (AP) and ensuring all payments are made in accordance with company policy.

• Assisting in the development and implementation of budget processes.

• Conducting cost accounting and cost analysis to assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Ensuring accurate cost accounting is maintained and regularly updated.

• Working closely with other departments to develop and implement strategies for cost reduction and efficiency.

• Developing and implementing ERP solutions for better financial management and reporting.

• Maintaining accurate records of all accounting activities.

• Regularly reviewing and updating accounting processes and procedures to improve efficiency.

• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports for management review.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cost Accounting

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions.

• Demonstrated experience in managing Accounting Functions.

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary.

• Ability to understand and work with Budget Processes.

• Proficiency in Cost Accounting and performing Cost Analysis.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
