Schedule: 12 hour rotating swing shift (4days 7:00a.m. to 7:00p.m., 4 days off, 4 nights 7:00p.m. to 7:00a.m., 4 nights off)
Description/Job Summary
Job Summary: Operates, inspects, and conducts maintenance activities on equipment related to the milling of white rice to ensure that the equipment is functioning properly, is well maintained, and product is within specification/requirement. Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of the White Rice Mill milling equipment and areas, using compressed air and sweeping of equipment and structures of the area(s) on a defined frequency. Must completed and maintain production and monitoring records (magnet inspections, enrichment logs, production records), maintenance, and sanitation records.
Basic Qualifications
Must possess basic math skills.
Must possess basic mechanical skills.
Must possess good communications skills.
Must be willing and able to climb up to 100 ft. as needed.
Must be willing and able to lift up to 100 pounds as needed with or without assistance.
Must be willing to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and turn throughout the day.
Must be willing to work in hot and cold temperatures for periods of time.
Must be willing to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Must possess basic computer skills.
Must be willing to work unsupervised and with others.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
