Planate Management Group LLC Finance Intern in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Philippines

Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

Currently, we are looking for a Finance Intern who will be assigned to work with our Finance Team. He/she will perform research, document filings, and assist with reconciling accounts and other duties as needed.

Allowance will be provided Php400.00/day. This will be an onsite assignment in Subic, Zambales.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performing administrative duties such as preparing invoices and updating accounting files, as and when required

  • Using QuickBooks to input AR, AP and including maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll

  • Assisting with research, filing, and maintaining accurate and complete financial records

  • Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity

  • Learning how to work as part of the Finance team to compile and analyze data and track information

  • Providing general accounting support

  • Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations.

Qualifications to be successful in the role:

  • College student pursuing BS Accountancy in any accredited Colleges/Universities

  • Strong desire to learn along with a professional drive

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • The ability to work as part of a team

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Able to be discreet when handling sensitive financial information

  • Motivation and a strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.
