What you will be doing:
Operate water truck in and around the terminal, coal piles, roadways, and other areas as required
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure all safety protocols are met
Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate work
Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Assist with other terminal operations as needed, including but not limited to, operating other equipment, cleaning and maintaining equipment, other tasks as assigned.
Maintain accurate logs and records
What you'll need:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Previous experience operating around a coal terminal and trucking experience preferred.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
Ability to operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
Ability to operate controls and equipment for prolonged periods.
Capability to work in an outdoor environment with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
