Google Senior Software Engineer, Performance, Google Cloud Databases in Sunnyvale, California
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
3 years of experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
Experience in performance debugging of single-node systems.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in multi-threading or distributed computing software development.
Experience in performance benchmarking.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $161,000-$239,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Diagnose latency problems in distributed systems.
Improve affinity and load balancing for Cloud databases.
Debug, do performance analysis, and identify opportunities for future improvements.
