We are looking for Physiotherapist for our Newton, Surrey Clinic location!
Program : Post Concussion Management Program (PCMP)
Hours : Full Time
Job Summary :
Evidence-based assessment and rehabilitation services
Vestibular rehabilitation assessment and treatment
Orthopaedic injury assessment and treatment
Chronic pain education and treatment strategies
Exercise prescription and progression
Group education and exercise circuits
Making physician referrals and monitoring adherence to medical recommendations
Balance and mobility training for clients with concussion/head injuries.
Formal report writing, participation in team meetings, and in person and telephone communication with stakeholders/referral sources
The Physiotherapist will work in a team that includes Occupational Therapists, Neuropsychologists/Counselors, Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapists, Physicians, and Kinesiologists.
Requirements:
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia
New graduates and Physiotherapists with experience in other practice areas are encouraged to apply as comprehensive mentorship and training can be provided for the right candidate
Excellent clinical, interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize with a focus on customer service
An interest in vocational rehabilitation and active holistic treatment
Excellent written and verbal English skills
A positive and energetic team player
