Job Title: Warehouse Lead

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and hands-on Warehouse Lead to coordinate activities in our warehouse. The ideal candidate will handle tasks directly, delegate responsibilities, and ensure the warehouse operates efficiently and remains well-organized.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming shipments, and after receiving into the building & ERP, coordinate incoming quality inspection.

  • Ship outgoing products, arrange carriers, create Bills of Lading, review and audit production jobs, and finalize or close production jobs in ERP.

  • Monitor special orders from customers, maintain a 1-3 month buffer of parts in the warehouse, and trigger production prioritization if inventory gets low.

  • Conduct cycle counts and validate inventory accuracy.

  • Pull and prep raw materials for upcoming production jobs.

  • Clean and organize the inventory and work area, ensuring the warehouse is always in an extremely organized and clean condition.

  • Work in the ERP to create related documents such as POs, pick tickets, put-away tickets, and item labels.

  • Implement and manage KANBAN systems, train team members on these systems, and oversee all KANBAN flow.

  • Ensure material is stored efficiently with frequently used materials in easily accessible places and manage FIFO processes.

  • Lead annual physical inventory projects.

  • Make necessary transactions in business systems and ensure all stock is properly labeled.

  • Manage cleaning schedules, operate floor scrubbers, and maintain a world-class environment.

  • Manage other supplies such as corrugated and packaging materials, oils, coolants, and cleaning supplies.

  • Fill in for operators when departments are short-handed.

  • Perform 5S & Safety kaizen audits and drive best practices for workplace cleanliness and organization.

  • Audit production order details, post scrap, consume materials, and ensure counts align. Finish production jobs in the system within one week after completion.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with picking, inventory control, material handling, shipping and receiving, and cycle counting.

  • Proficiency in using ERP systems.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage and observe FIFO processes.

  • Experience with KANBAN systems.

  • Familiarity with logistics documents and shipping operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly with CNC machines.

  • Ability to operate floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment.

  • Experience in managing supplies such as corrugated and packaging materials, oils, coolants, and cleaning supplies.

Work Environment

This role is in a well-lit, climate-controlled manufacturing environment with CNC machines. The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Suwanee, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $68640.00/yr.

Group Medical Benefits — Employees are eligible for medical and dental coverage after

completion of 30-days. Co-Pay or HDHP options are available. The cost of coverage for the

employee is shared between the employee and PAI. Dependent coverage is available to the

employee. The employee pays for dependent coverage.

This is a fully onsite position in Suwanee,GA.
