Join our established and growing team at CBRE, where you'll work in partnership with leaders to foster an ethical and compliant culture across Australia and New Zealand through the implementation of global and local compliance programs.
About the Role:
Lead the charge in developing and driving the annual Ethical and Compliance Plan and Programs, including Conflicts of Interest, Whistleblowing, Modern Slavery, and Third-Party Risk.
Provide strategic and tactical advice to the business on a broad range of Compliance risks
Develop and maintain risk control metrics and conduct second line defence monitoring activities
Assume responsibility for the publication of the external facing Modern Slavery Report, develop e-learning modules for the business
Organise and Lead the Modern Slavery Committee as well as attend the ESG Committee
Support client directors with any supplier investigations and ensure appropriate outcomes
Provide Governance, Risk and Compliance Committee support
Own and manage the Pacific policy governance framework
Support the Head of Ethics and Compliance on Annual Enterprise Risk Assessments as well as other key projects for the Pacific business.
About You:
Extensive experience in an Ethics and Compliance role within a large multinational organisation
Solid understanding of compliance risks, controls and mitigation strategies including Data Privacy laws, sanctions, FCPA, Anti-corruption, Spam Act, Anti-money Laundering, Know-Your-Customer Principles and other regulatory requirements
Superior stakeholder management and communication skills
Technologically minded and an automation mindset
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, organisation and report writing skills
A proactive and solutions focused approach
Experience in Real Estate industry is preferred but not necessary.
