Finish Polisher
JOB SUMMARY: Fabricate and polish stone countertops to ensure a smooth surface by hand polishing or using sanding machine or other equipment. Edge and inspect final products for product specifications and or product defects. Cutting countertop materials to specifications. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Cut backsplash to specific dimensions as required.
Finish/Polish backsplash
Perform quality inspections on all backsplash prior to the material leaving the building
Examine order specifications using blueprints, drawings, and/or work orders, to determine characteristics of finished item, materials to be used, and machine setup requirements.
Fabricate stone countertops.
Operate hand and power sander/ tools to sand stone surface countertops.
Visually inspect and examine final products for visual or surface defects.
Loading and unloading benches.
Maintain a neat and clean work area and machines. Examine sanding-belts and replace worn parts, clean machines, and workstation. Follow all company safety policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook. MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to understand directions and follow standard operating procedures.
Ability to work varying shifts
