Title and Summary

Manager, People Business Partner

Overview

This person will act as a single point of the contact for the employees and managers in the business unit. Proactively support the delivery of HR Processes on the client’s side and manage complex and difficult HR Projects cross-functionally.

Role

In this role you will:

  • Build a strong business relationship with the internal client.

  • Actively identify gaps, propose and implement changes necessary to cover risks.

  • Facilitate the management team to bring best solutions for employees.

  • Act as the performance improvement driver and provoke positive changes in the people management.

  • Design and maintain organizational charts, workforce planning, and succession plans.

  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to both employees and management.

  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.

  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations when necessary.

  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

  • Oversee recruitment efforts for all personnel, including writing and placing job ads, working with recruitment agencies, and conducting interviews for managerial and key positions.

  • Conduct regular meetings with respective business units.

  • Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.

  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

  • Proven working experience as HR manager or other HR executive.

  • People oriented and results driven.

  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics.

  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.

  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.

  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.

  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.

  • Degree in Human Resources or related field.

  • Strong business acumen.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Strategic thinking and leadership skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to lead and develop HR department staff members.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
