Superintendent (TRAVELING) - Commercial Construction
Ultimate LLC is urgently seeking to hire a Traveling Superintendent for commercial construction projects in the Florida . The pay range is $70,000 - $85,000 per year based on experience.
All Superintendents are scheduled 40+ hours a week. We are looking for skilled professionals to add to our team of dedicated, safe, productive, and proven leaders. Ultimate LLC provides weekly pay for all employees with no week in the hole and optional direct deposit.
Ultimate Job Duties:
Qualified Candidates must reside within a 60-mile radius of Tampa, FL
Oversee and direct all field operations
Perform all Field Measurements for all products
Job site visits, Preconstruction and ACE Prep Meetings
Determine proper Equipment for each job and schedule all equipment and containers as required. Manage equipment on rent and call off as needed. Periodically coordinate with Sunbelt, Mobile Mini, etc. to ensure equipment not needed does not stay on rent
Review Foreman submitted time for accuracy and submit weekly for payroll.
Coordinate and schedule all field work with SAS PMs
Visit sites periodically to ensure quality and safety
Manage and evaluate personnel
Perform layout on more difficult jobs like Sky fold walls, large steel doors and SUI projects
Assist Sales Personnel with labor and equipment and answer product and general construction questions as needed
Assist Project Managers with product, field dimensions and general construction questions
Periodically perform site visits with Sales Personnel to help figure pricing on jobs with difficult circumstances
Mentor, guide and manage field personnel
Weekly conference calls pertaining to in process jobs
Periodic Service Calls and Kalwall repairs
Order and have delivered all necessary material for ongoing jobs ( Ex. Caulk, fasteners, rigging and specialized safety equipment
Set up and signal any crane use
Layout all Sky fold motors and oversee all Sky fold Installations
Coordinate all Deliveries to jobsites for Kalwall, SG, McKeon and Sky fold
Perform all Owner Trainings
Represent SAS at Fire Alarm inspections as needed
Schedule equipment training as needed
Ultimate Superintendent Requirements:
High School diploma/GED
5+ years of construction experience, with a focus on commercial projects
Previous experience in a supervisory role
Must be willing to travel up to 100% of the time
Ability to perform regular standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. without assistance
