GE Vernova Mechanical Engineer (Taoyuan) in Taoyuan City, Taiwan
Job Description Summary
Reporting to the Mechanical Section Manager, you will be responsible for all of the mechanical system equipment maintenance activities of the Hai-Fu Combined Cycle Power Plant operated by GE Power Taiwan including identifying the maintenance requirement.
You will act within a small team of station staff as a responsible ‘hands on’ engineer, who is capable of organizing, planning and leading execution or executing all maintenance activities on the power plant mechanical system equipment.

Role & Responsibilities
Identifying, recording and revision of all maintenance requirements.
Promoting safety awareness/safe working practice to mechanical personnel and contractors.
Leading and ensuring all work performed is in accordance with established procedures and good engineering practice.
Reviewing mechanical spares holding.
Updating mechanical plant record and plant specific maintenance procedures
Review routine maintenance plan.
Basic Requirements
Possess Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related;
Minimum 3 years' working experience in power generation plant or large sized industrial plant;
Understanding of the power generation process;
Ability of risk assessment and safety awareness;
Ability to speak and write in English language.
Willingness to work at Taoyuan.
