ManpowerGroup Assembly Operator III in Tempe, Arizona

Our client, a leader in logistics and supply chain management, is seeking a Assembly Operator III to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be part of the operations department supporting the logistics team. The ideal candidate will have Attention to detail will be key for this role as they’re the last set of eyes to inspect the assembled goods before it’s boxed up and shipped to the client. Having a team work attitude goes a long way as well. , excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembly Operator III (Packer)

Location: Tempe, AZ

Pay Range: $19.00 hourly

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

What's the Job?

  • Responsible for quality inspecting to ensure all assembled devices & cables meet company requirements as it’s being packaged for shipping to the customer.

  • Visually inspect the assembled devices, cables and labels to ensure they meet specifications and identify any defects.

  • Follow standard operating procedures to properly package assembled materials as well as stacking the boxes to prepare for shipping, avoiding any damage while in route to the customer.

  • Make effective decisions to accept or reject finished products and discuss inspection results with the production Lead.

  • Provide hands on support to the production staff when needed to meet customer demands.

What's Needed?

  • 2-5 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

  • Must have attention to detail and ability to do quality expectations for finished products

  • Must have basic technical skills of working with electrical wires, electrical conduits and cables.

  • Using and maintaining hand and power tools. .

  • Worked in an assembly environment for a minimum of three years.

  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Position requires you to be on your feet throughout shift.

  • Bending, reaching and lifting up to 50 lbs. will be expected with assistance
