Role Purpose

  • Business Partnership:

  • Partners with Business leadership to assess strategy, deliver on financial targets, and key business initiatives

  • Develop business and financial recommendations to assist leadership with key business decisions such as cost reduction actions, footprint optimization, acquisitions & divestitures, capacity expansions and capital spending

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and commercial, to support business objectives

  • Clearly communicate the division financial results internally in a manner that enables understanding and drives action where appropriate

  • Serve as a key liaison between the division and corporate finance

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, for management review

  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management

  • Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly and quarterly results, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs)

Financial Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute the financial strategy for the division in alignment with corporate goals

  • Build and maintain financial forecasting models to support business planning and decision-making

  • Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections

  • Direct the division and its various entities on all aspects of financial forecasts, annual budget and long-range plan

  • Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team

  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment

  • Promote continuous learning and professional growth within the team

Experiences/Education - Required

  • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience including experience in a global, complex environment.

  • CPA or other equivalent certification (desired)

  • Strong relevant academic credentials; ideally BS or equivalent with concentration in accounting or finance. MBA desired.

  • Experience in a manufacturing company, including plant controllership (desired)

  • Proven track record successfully managing the planning processes and implementation of all accounting operations

  • Experience providing guidance and delivering presentations to leadership making recommendations on key initiatives or actions

  • Experience interpreting financial results to develop and consult on strategic recommendations with business leadership

  • Track record managing multiple projects and teams, ensuring compliance with best practices and reporting requirements

  • Experience serving as expert adviser to resolve and advise on ambiguous and unstructured management requests, applying macroeconomic thinking and identifying potential risks

  • Experience leading teams, hiring and developing talent

Travel Requirements

  • Approximately 25% of time

The range for this position is $158,526.00 - $217,973.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
