Oracle Applications Developer 3 in THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, India

Job Description

At Oracle, we are building world class SaaS applications catering small though medium to large enterprises' business requirements. As application developer, you will be responsible for design, development and troubleshooting of robust and highly scalable applications. You will work with world-class team of engineers spread across different geographies. As application developer you will review, analyze external customer/consumer specifications, specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development and diagnostic capability, instrumentation and tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Profile applicaHition for scalability.

As application developer you will communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products. Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 2.5 to 8 years of software engineering or related experience.

As application developer you will also involve in SaaS deployment and lifecycle related issues along with Operations and will be working in Devops centric application teams.

You should possess following skills

Proficiency in Java and J2EE(must)

Strong analytical and problem solving skills (must)

Strong debugging skills (must)

Proficiency in design patterns (desired)

Exposure to Oracle Fusion Cloud applications - CX|HCM|ERP (desired)

Exposure to Oracle Fusion Middle-ware stack - ADF|SOA|OBIEE (desired)

Experience in working with Devops centric teams (desired)

Exposure to Cloud infrastructure, life-cycle management of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS - Oracle Cloud Infra|AWS|Azure (desired)

You should have experience

minimum of 3 years to 7 Years maximum

You should have Engineering degree (graduate|post graduate)

BE/B.Tech/ M.Tech from a reputed institutes with excellent and consistent academic record

Career Level - IC3

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.
