In operation since 1971, the Ticonderoga Mill produces high end printing and technical papers harvested from Adirondack and Vermont forests. With over 600 dedicated employees focused on safety, environment, quality and production, we operate and monitor various pulping and papermaking processes and systems.

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you’ll analyze and assimilate financial data into useful management tools. Responsibilities will include collaborating with mill operations on a daily basis, as well as measuring progress against meeting various objectives, analyzing business results, developing an annual budget, and preparing short-term forecasts.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Actively participate as a member for the Finance Team and support assigned business mill units.

  • Review and analyze key performance measures and variances.

  • Develop annual budget and ensure accuracy of product cost information.

  • Monthly reporting and communication of financial performance against objectives.

  • Financial analyses; cost/variance, profitability, key performance measures, operating data, new product development.

  • Forecasting and budget development.

  • Month and year-end close process (Position may require working some holidays).

Minimum requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration.

At least one year of relevant experience in finance or accounting.

Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.

Thorough understanding of cost accounting principles and procedures.

Manufacturing process knowledge preferred.

The base compensation range for this position is$61,300.00 to $119,500.00per year. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
