Prevention Team Finance Coordinator

We are dedicated to maintaining precise financial records, handling transactions, and ensuring compliance with NYS OASAS regulations and policies. Our collaborative ethos emphasizes the importance of supporting daily administrative and program operations while promoting community prevention campaigns.
Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated individual to manage accounts payable and receivable, conduct bank and account reconciliations, perform payroll functions accurately and timely, and handle credit card reconciliations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and other relevant software is essential for this role. Additionally, you will participate in workforce management and employee relations tasks as needed.
Other Key Responsibilities include: Shared Grant funding management Maintaining general ledgers Preparing reports Work with Executive Director to prepare agency and grants budgets
Requirements: A high school diploma/GED or one -year transferable experience may substitute for an Associates degree. Prefer post-secondary coursework/associate degree in accounting or a related field. Experience relevant to the role of the position. Ability to meet occasional travel requirements associated with this position. A valid drivers license, ability to drive, and driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage are required. Ability to communicate effectively, prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and manage responsibilities. Technology skills : Microsoft office suite especially MS excel. Commitment to learning specific software. Ability to help ensure a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment
What We Offer: Regionally competitive salary range $21.00 to $24.00 per hour based on experience.
