About Us:
Webster is a leading manufacturer dedicated to driving innovation and efficiency in our operations and companies. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Developer to join our IT team. This position is responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our Epicor ERP system to support the company's growing needs and streamline business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Epicor ERP Development: Design, develop, and implement custom solutions within the Epicor ERP platform, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Customization & Integration: Develop and integrate custom Epicor modules, dashboards, reports, and workflows to enhance system functionality.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues related to Epicor ERP software, providing technical support to end-users.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver optimal solutions.
- System Upgrades: Assist in the planning and execution of Epicor system upgrades, patches, and version migrations.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for Epicor customizations, workflows, and integration processes.
- Training: Provide training and support to end-users and co-workers on Epicor ERP functionalities, toolsets, and best practices.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure that all Epicor solutions are compliant with relevant regulations and follow best practices for security and data integrity.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in Epicor development in a manufacturing/distribution environment is required, with preference given to candidates with 7+ years of experience. Alternatively, candidates with a minimum of 3-5 years of non-Epicor development experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment will be considered, with preference for those with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Epicor programming languages such as C#. Experience with BPMs, BAQs, SSRS, and customizations within the Application Studio toolset, preferred.
- Integration Skills: Experience with system integrations (APIs, web services, etc.) required.
- Database Knowledge: Proficiency in SQL query writing required.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Position Expectations
Position: This is a full-time position.
*Hours: *Monday through Friday, 8:00 am -- 5:00 pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
*Travel: *Minimal travel is required for this position. Occasional travel to other Webster locations may be required. Travel to a yearly software conference is expected.
