Your day at NTT DATA
Senior Network engineer
The on-site engineer(s) provided for such professional services should be dedicated. Should there be any spare time / resources besides doing migration and port provisioning, the on-site engineer(s) should work on other tasks under the instructions of the organization.
What you'll be doing
Technical Skill requirements
Mandatory - Senior on-site engineer should have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines
Mandatory - On-site engineer should have Grade E/Level 2 of Chinese and English in HKCEE/HKDSE
Mandatory - Senior on-site engineer with Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing and Switching/(CCNP)
Enterprise or Arista Cloud Engineer Level 3 or above certification
and on-site engineer with Cisco Certified Network Associate
(CCNA) or Arista Cloud Engineer Level 2 or above certification.
Mandatory - With demonstrated experience on implementing GEs, 10GEs, 100/400GEs and support of service provider networks, especially on Internet eXchange Provider (IXP) environment
Mandatory - With hands on experience on configuring Cisco, Nexus 7000, 7700 & 9000 series network switches
Mandatory - Familiar with the network features and demonstrated working experience including the following:
Port security
Port channel and Link Aggregation
Spanning Tree
IPv4 and IPv6 Routing
BGP protocol
Preferable - Good experience on network troubleshooting and familiar on the network features with working experience:
Virtual Device Context
Virtual Port Channel
Fabric Path
VXLAN EVPN
Preferable - Good communication (English and Chinese) and
interpersonal skills
Preferable - Strong problem solving and analytical skills
