Medtronic Event Training Coordinator (1 year contract / extendable) in Tolochenaz, Switzerland

Medtronic is hiring an Event Training Coordinator responsible for managing all logistical aspects of internal and external events, including but not limited to Health Care Professional (HCP) training, as well as ensuring compliance accuracy in contracting following official guidelines.

In the role, you will negotiate with vendors, confirms venue and/or training labs, catering, hotel and flight bookings and manages any changes, as well as handle contract management and event correspondence with HCP.

A Day in the Life

• Manage all logistical aspects of internal and external events, including but not limited to training.

• Ensure compliance accuracy in contracting following official guidelines

• Negotiate with vendors, confirms venue and/or training labs, catering, hotel and flight bookings and manages any changes.

• Provide sourcing options and budgets estimates when required, as well as cost reconciliation and on time payments for each event.

• Provide guidance and monitors system and processes related to the event offering, as well as data quality and producing reports to key stakeholders.

• Maintain and communicate event calendars, provide website content upload support, manage the medical education registration portal and manage Health Care Provider (HCP) contracts and payments in line with Business Conduct Standards (BSC) requirement.

• Coordinate the prepping, scheduling and communication aspects of instructor-led, side-by-side, and/or digital training.

• Foster an environment of continuous improvement by identifying areas of opportunity and executing improvements in partnership with leadership.

Must Haves

• 1-2 years of experience in event management

• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)

• Good knowledge in German

• Experience in delivering against day-to-day objectives with direct impact on achievement of results for the job area, including moderate scheduling or customer satisfaction implications

• Experience in committing to clerical and administrative assignments

• Capability of working on routine tasks, with some deviations from standard practice

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with high attention to details

• Highly independence when committing to tasks and delivery

• Problem solving approach, proactive attitude, capability of working as a team player

Nice to Haves

• Experience in a multinational environment

• Fluency in German and French

• Experience in compliance regulation or tourism

• Experience in checking and making minor adjustments to work methods to solve problems that are routine
