Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

As a Director of Business Operations, you will own and manage a rapidly growing team of project managers, technical project managers, and operations staff responsible for

  • Define key business metrics, generate regular reporting on metrics & provide insights

  • Collaborate with finance and understand product P&L and cost drivers. Make recommendations and drive business to improve service profitability.

  • Drive cohesive strategy across Storage Services

  • Drive cross org projects for Storage Services and improve existing processes

  • Drive budgeting and headcount planning for Storage Services

  • Drive capacity management process across Storage Services and collaborate with supply chain and capacity planning business operation teams

  • Oversight or advising on ad-hoc strategic initiatives at the request of Oracle executive management

  • Mentor and grow a team of world-class project managers and TPMs.

What you’ll need:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in business operations or finance

  • Passion for data and numbers with a curious mind

  • Familiarity with corporate financial reporting and standard performance metrics

  • Strong analysis and reporting skills with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to collect, organize, and display data in consumable format

  • Successfully led and delivered projects requiring collaboration across a diverse set of stakeholders from engineering teams, finance, marketing, and senior leadership teams

  • Strong history of operational process improvement

  • Experience in working across business units and with cross-functional collaboration

  • Good relationship leadership skills, able to work across global teams who may not have a financial background

  • Advanced Excel user

  • BA/BS degree with business, engineering or technical major preferred

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $139,300 to $291,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
