What you'll be doing.

Responsible for managing the development, delivery and execution of HR insights by applying people data and analytics expertise to improve workforce decisions that drive business performance and growth. This role maintains relationships with multiple stakeholders from HR and the business, ensuring that HR data related projects (e.g. data hygiene, insights and analytics) are properly assessed, documented, and executed. This role also identifies opportunities to enhance the HR analytics capability of the Bank. This role is for a temporarily maternity leave replacement for approximately 18 months.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

• Collaborates closely with key stakeholders including HR and business leaders to support data-related exercises and projects to enhance the Bank’s capability to make data-driven decisions. This includes: a) fully understanding the need, data required, processes impacting the data, b) identifying insights and key concerns and opportunities to be addressed through HR Insights and reporting; c) creating and leading plans to ensure projects/programs objectives are achieved, d) consulting and providing guidance as needed, and d) presenting results from HR data impacting the talent lifecycle, including headcount and workforce planning, talent management, career development, diversity and inclusion, etc.

• Drives and supports the development and enhancement of automated solutions by defining high level business requirements and partners with peers in the HR reporting team to define scope of work for future enhancements.

• Supports enhancing the analytical capability of partners through guidance, consultation, and training as the expert on the selection of appropriate tools, the identification of drivers, trends, and proactive opportunities from the data.

• Drive analytics maturity through continuous improvement in data quality, data management practices, and standard tools and capabilities.

• Collaborates with technology teams and related HR areas to develop strategies to automate data reporting.

• Drives a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge

• Understands how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions

• Supports an environment in which his/her team pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct

• Supports a high performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment; communicating vison/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We'd love to work with you if you have:

• Approximately 18 month maternity leave replacment

• Post-secondary degree

• Deep expertise in analytics; a strong analytical mindset and proven analytical skills with the ability to assimilate information from varoius sources, identify themes and trends, and develop sound insights and recommendations.

• High proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, Python, SQL and data querying, and SuccessFactors required.

• Strong critical thinking skills and high attention to detail.

• Excellent communication, both verbal and written with the ability to communicate complex technological solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, dealing with time sensitive and confidential information. Strong collaboration skills.

• Ability to deal with ambiguity and complexity and balance conflicting priorities.

• Expert knowledge of HR policies, procedures and processes and how they relate to HR systems and data.

• Strong knowledge of organizational and HR data structure and complexity.

• Spanish communication skills would be an asset.

• Deep understanding and knowledge of Bank policies and procedures would be an asset

This is a temporary full time role for 12 months.
