Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Assistant in Torrance, California
Description We are looking for a meticulous Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Torrance, California. This role involves a variety of functions, including data entry, document management, and HR-related report generation. You will also provide administrative support and work on assigned projects, ensuring the smooth operation of our HR department.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct data entry tasks in Dayforce as required
• Assist with data clean up and payroll corrections
• Scan and electronically file employee documents
• Generate and format HR related reports as needed
• Perform various administrative support activities, including copying, scanning, mailing, and shipping
• Work on assigned projects, such as assisting with the transfer of documents to the Dayforce document module
• Utilize skills in ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, and HRMS
• Engage in Benefit Functions, Compensation Administration, Compliance, and Employee Relations
• Uphold strict confidentiality and demonstrate good judgement. Requirements • Must have at least 1 year of experience in a Human Resources role
• Proficient in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is required
• Experience with Ceridian and HRMS is essential
• Familiarity with About Time software is necessary
• Should be well-versed in Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration
• Ability to ensure Compliance in all HR practices
• Experience in handling Employee Relations is essential
• Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
