Our Client is looking for an Operations Coordinator for their Torrance office. This is an opportunity to join the expanding team of a well-established, growing technology company. This is an office job, and this person will work side-by-side with other office personnel.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Read/Interpret WO, SOW, PROPOSAL, QUOTE, ESTIMATE

  • Gather/organize receivables from Sales/Estimation (Prints, BOMs, etc.)

  • Job Start Meeting Coordination

  • Crew and/or Site Lead assignments

  • Contact Purchasing for material availability, staging and ordering

  • Contact Warehouse for tools/equipment availability, staging, etc.

  • Allocate manpower and adjust Scheduler software accordingly

  • Contact customer to confirm proposed start and end dates

  • Confirm schedule with PM/Lead/Technician

  • Change Order and RFI Processing

  • Job Financial Tracking, monitoring budgets against performance

  • Daily log verification

  • Job Closeout/Auditing

  • Field Training Coordination

  • Coordination with customer on altered timelines/schedules/issues/demands

  • Create project plans/project schedules

  • Coordination with sub-contractors

  • Schedule site walks with customer contacts

  • Coordinating site clearances, badging procedures, etc.

  • Coordinate with Project Manager/Site Lead on Container Deliver/Material Management/Shipping/etc

  • Pulling appropriate permits

  • Coordinating travel arrangements

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Excellent communication skills; strong customer service skills

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
