As a Sr. Advanced Systems Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies (AT) you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of complex systems and solutions that drive innovation, safety, and efficiency across various industries.

Within the MS&C Environmental Control Systems (ECS) organization, our group is responsible for system development and integration across various control systems areas i.e. Cabin Pressure Control Systems, Bleed Air Systems, Air Cooling and Temperature Control Systems, Supplemental Cooling Systems, etc. Your expertise in systems engineering, project management, and technical leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of technology and industry solutions.

In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge systems that power innovative solutions. You will be responsible for the design and architectural aspects of complex systems, which may involve hardware, software, and network components. You will ensure that the system design aligns with Honeywell's quality standards and industry best practices. You will be responsible for maintaining in-depth knowledge of relevant technologies and industry trends that you will apply to address complex engineering challenges and provide solutions that meet or exceed the required technical standards for your customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction for systems engineering activities, aligning them with the company's goals and objectives

  • Systems integration and architecture development

  • Effective coordination and communication with:

  • Multi-disciplinary design teams

  • Systems engineering teams

  • Project management organizations

  • Internal and external customers

  • Technical leadership and oversight of:

  • Control system integration

  • Test and development equipment

  • Ownership and Leading field Issue troubleshooting and support

  • Project engineering

  • Collaborate with technical experts and thought leaders to drive technological advancements

Present complex technical information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

The annual base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

The application period for the job is estimated to be 30 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

  • Minimum

5 years of experience in systems engineering
