Triple V Concrete Construction, Inc. Construction Laborer in Tracey, Minnesota
Need 6 full-time, temporary, seasonal Construction Laborers to work at locations in Lyon and Brown Counties in Minnesota. From: 03/02/2024 to 12/23/2024 Work: 45 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hrs./day, Sat. 5 hrs./day. 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The work hours listed are the hours during which the work shift might be; workers will not be expected to work from 6 am until 7 pm but rather they can expect to work 8 hours a day Monday through Friday between the hours of 6 am and 7 pm and 5 hours on Saturdays between those hours. The schedule varies by worksite and other factors Applicants may be offered higher than the advertised wage rate due to experience and/or merit. All work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Must Apply By: 07/29/2024 JOB DUTIES: On farms, construction of livestock buildings. Measure and layout livestock building. Excavate footings and level the earth to grade specifications. Tie rebar, position wall-forms and place all concrete. Clean site. JOB REQUIREMENTS: One (1) month experience as a wood wall-form setter; able to lift and carry 85 lbs. for 85 yards; able to perform work requiring exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, frequent stooping or bending over, and repetitive movements; no minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
