TURNERS FALLS - Registered Behavioral Technician - Secondary School Job Description Support the implementation of evidence based behavioral interventions in a school classroom and specialized program environment in collaboration with other educator specialists under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst. Major Responsibilities: Providing direct student care in one-on-one and group settings Following the behavior reduction and behavioral skill acquisition protocols Collecting and recording data based on student behavior Communicating with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding student progress Assisting behavior analysts and assistant behavior analysts with behavior reduction assessments and skills acquisition Assisting behavior analysts and assistant behavior analysts in the preparation of student materials Applying feedback and training on Registered Behavior Technician performance given by the lead BCBA or BCaBA Providing behavior support inside and outside of the classroom when applicable Attending a variety of training sessions and other related district meetings Adhering to applicable laws, rules, and regulations specified by regulatory agencies Performs other duties as assigned Job Requirements Credential qualifying candidate to work as a Registered Behavioral Technician Skills and Knowledge Required: Understands that all school district staff members are here to serve the community in a positive, productive, and welcoming manner Good interpersonal skills Good oral and written communication skills Initiative, tact, discretion, and sound judgment Demonstrates care and empathy Can follow multi step oral and written directions Citizenship, residency or work visa required Contact Information Brian Beck, Superintendent 35 Crocker Avenue Turners Falls, Massachusetts 01376 Phone: 413-863-9324 Email: brian.beck@gmrsd.org
