Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and highly skilled individual to drive innovation and excellence in non-woven manufacturing. This role is critical in leading the development of cutting-edge non-woven felts, optimising manufacturing processes, and ensuring continuous improvement in product performance and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess technical and process understanding of non-woven textile manufacturing, an innovative mindset, and strong leadership capabilities to enhance both product development and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Optimisation: Identify and implement improvements in manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and sustainability.

  • Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance to cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to ensure the seamless transition of innovations from concept to commercialisation.

  • Continuous Improvement: Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to drive operational excellence and sustainability.

  • Innovation & Product Development: Drive the research, design, and development of new non-woven felts and advanced material solutions, ensuring they meet market demands and regulatory standards.

  • Material Science & Process Engineering: Oversee the selection and testing of raw materials, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness in production.

  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure all product developments and manufacturing processes comply with industry regulations and Alkegen safety and quality standards

  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to align technical advancements with business objectives and market opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in non-woven textile manufacturing

  • Strong expertise in innovation, product development, and process engineering

  • Degree in Textile Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related fields.

  • Demonstrated success in leading technical teams and driving product innovation.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills
