DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Program Analyst 1, you will be responsible for implementing the quality management program as it relates to the Delaware County Department of Human Services and Office of Data Statistics and Quality Improvement.  The DHS quality program description, quality work plan, and program evaluation will guide implementation and quality activity.  You will have the opportunity to collaborate with human service administrative and quality teams to ensure that ongoing quality methods are implemented to sustain the evaluation and compliance of human service programs.

Responsibilities include involvement with general quality improvement, data and statistical analysis, research and innovation, and community feedback initiatives.  You will participate in the creation of data collection systems for county funded programs, assist in identification and operationalization of performance measures, and utilize results from data collection to determine recommendations and strengths of programs within the Delaware County service system.  This position allows you to evaluate provider strengths and needs in areas such as culturally and linguistically appropriate services (CLAS) and trauma informed care, as well as producing a comprehensive report of all findings including accomplishments and recommendations for improvement.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of professional analytical work which involved procedures development or review, budget or systems analysis, statistical analysis, program analysis, or management methods; and a bachelor's degree; or A master's degree in public administration, social science, statistics, or business administration, or a closely related field; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Legal Requirements: You must pass a background investigation. This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law. Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
