Designer: Creative Department

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a multidisciplinary Designer to join the Vivint Creative Team. This position will play a pivotal role in designing impactful, high-performing creative assets—graphic, print, digital, and apparel—for a variety of audiences and channels. This role is ideal for a versatile designer who thrives on collaboration, takes initiative, and actively contributes to our overall brand vision and marketing strategy.

As part of our Creative Team, you’ll work on a broad variety of visually compelling and performance-driven content specific to various platforms and formats. The ideal candidate has experience in designing marketing materials within the technology industry. They also understand how design impacts campaign results throughout the sales funnel.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Identity, Creative Strategy, & Innovation

  • Act as both conduit and ambassador for the creative department and design team to all the stakeholders they support in resolving problems with creative minded, design solutions. Simultaneously meeting the brand vision and strategy as well as the organizations specific platform and audience necessities.

  • Maintain, uphold, and influence Vivint’s identity across all expressions of the brand: digital, print, event spaces, installations, etc.

  • Proactively contribute ideas for brand evolution and creative storytelling.

  • Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visuals that resonate with customers.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging design technologies, and competitor branding. Actively participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new concepts and campaign themes.

  • Work closely with brand marketing, product marketing, and sales teams to align creative efforts with business objectives.

Design Execution

  • Develop creative assets for both print and digital platforms to ensure cohesive, multifaceted campaign experiences.

  • Design assets for digital marketing; including social media, email campaigns, display ads, and website graphics.

  • Create marketing collateral, brochures, signage, and packaging materials. Work with vendors to ensure high-quality print production.

  • Support marketing efforts with conversion-focused design strategies.

  • Understand and experience with full creative process: Ideation, collaboration, feedback cycles, stakeholder communication, exportation and production prep.

  • Competent in tracking and executing high-performing design trends and strategies that drive engagement.

  • Proficiency in developing and creating cohesive graphic assets for marketing campaigns that assist sales for supported marketing channels (email, app, www pages, web banners, etc.)

  • Strong understanding of brand systems and guidelines ensuring brand consistency throughout all marketing materials while balancing creative strategies and expression.

  • Ability to work closely with all marketing and creative teams, copywriters, and developers to ensure cohesive and successful campaign deliverables.

  • Motivated to understand all facets of the Vivint audiences, sales funnel, and customer journey. Once proficiency is practiced and demonstrable, is motivated to identify new opportunities for improvement and/or expansion within channels.

  • Comfortable pitching new and creative methods and ideas to key stakeholders.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with mobile-first audiences.

  • Email marketing experience.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in design-related software (Adobe Creative Cloud)

  • Figma

  • Project management tools (e.g., Asana).

  • Can do stuff that a computer can’t.
