Description: WKTV NewsChannel 2, the NBC affiliate in Utica, New York, is in search of a full-time meteorologist/digital content producer. The successful candidate will provide on-air and online forecasts for the station's weekend morning newscasts, fill-in for other meteorologists as needed, post news content to our online properties, and other duties as assigned.

Skill requirements: Must be proficient in forecasting weather for television and online. Must be able to write and publish content to the station's website and social media platforms. Must be skilled in editing non-linear video.
Position opens: Immediately

Hours: Full Time (40 hours per week)
Supervisors: News Director, Interactive Media Manager
Qualifications: Four-year college Meteorology degree required
Salary Range:$15.00/hr.-$17.00/hour.
