Aston Carter Quoting Specialist in Van Nuys, California
Description:
This position is responsible for preparing cost estimates based on the product RFQ (Request for Quotation) packages and quotes from customers. The Quoting specialist will utilize QuoteFx and other quoting tools to acquire material costs. For some material they may need to contact vendors or manufacturers directly. Quoting specialist analyze costs and select vendors based on criteria of costs and lead time to compile final costed BOMs.

Experience putting together quotes
Receiving and processing Purchase Orders
Great Customer Service skills to communicate with customers and vendors
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in electronic component distribution or contract manufacturing industry is preferred
Familiar with assembly BOM and drawing is preferred
Must be skillful in Microsoft Excel
Detail oriented
Quick learner
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
