Wee Care Learning Center Assistant Teacher in Van Wert, Ohio
A well-established childcare center is looking for a childcare assistant to join our team. We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students and assisting in creating a positive learning environment. Responsibilities: - Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities - Provide support in literacy education and math skills development - Help with toddler care and childcare duties - Contribute to creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment - Assist in lesson planning and preparation - Support early childhood education initiatives - Manage classroom activities and ensure a safe learning environment
Ability to pass a standard background check
At least 18 years old with a High School diploma
Flexible working hours between 7:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday-Friday. Full Time
Skills: - Experience working with students in an educational setting - Proficiency in literacy education and math concepts - Familiarity with lesson planning techniques - Knowledge of toddler care practices and childcare responsibilities - Strong classroom management skills - Passion for early childhood education
