The Plant Manager is responsible for effectively managing all functions of the local Supply Chain and developing collaborative partnerships with both colleagues and external stakeholders. He or she must deliver the agreed to business results while maintaining positive employee relations. The primary accountabilities of the role include Supply Chain financial performance, plant production, Customer Service, Quality, SHE, labor relations, people and organization development, and maintaining strong community relations. The Plant Manager must be an effective and valuable member of the local management team, to ensure delivery of subsidiary business results. The Plant Manager works within a structure that requires considerable interface with Divisional and corporate management. The Plant Manager is responsible for ensuring that all functions in the Supply Chain are aligned with corporate goals. As one of the visible representatives of the site, the Plant Manager also assumes a key role in developing mutually beneficial relationships with the local community, vendors, and regulatory instances. In this role, you will report to the VP of Manufacturing and be responsible for overall safety, quality, cost, service, and direction of all activities concerned with product production and shipping. Help manage plant environmental control and compliance including managing wastewater permit testing and filings Help manage new product introductions, including Material SAP Setups Help manage site process safety including Management of Change, RedList, site permitting and process safety evaluations Plant Hours of Oper
