Job Description
Join our team as a Quality Assurance Technician at a leading frozen food manufacturer specializing in delicious snacks and hors d'oeuvres. The role involves conducting preoperational inspections, verifying product compliance with food safety and company standards, and ensuring the integrity of production processes. You will be actively involved in performing audits, both internal and external, and handling critical quality and control point verifications. Your contributions will be crucial in maintaining the high-quality standards our products are known for.

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Vaughan, Ontario.
Work Environment
This position operates in a rotating shift pattern, which changes every two months between day shifts (4:30am-1:30pm) and afternoon shifts (2:30pm-11:30pm). Initially, candidates will be on a day shift for approximately 6-8 months before starting rotation.
The work environment includes both office settings and production areas, where adherence to safety protocols like wearing lab coats, hairnets, and safety shoes is mandatory.
The production area is characterized by tight spaces, constant flour dust, loud machinery, and fast-paced operations. Temperature in work areas can be as low as 7-8 degrees Celsius in the fridge section and -18 degrees Celsius in the freezer.
